this list of top movies seems to be pretty old ………….
Does anyone remember a black superhero who was actually a shape-changing alien who was stranded on earth during the 19th century and adopted the appearance of african-american slaves(can’t remember if he could shape-shift after that). I seem to recall his powers reminded me of a black Superman.
Also, what about Static Shock? I think he was in an independent comic before being acquired by DC and made into an excellent animated series. Originally, he seem more inspired by Malcom X.
