The 10 Best Girl Kisses on TV

The 10 Best Girl Kisses on TV

Yesterday, on “All My Children,” Reese and Bianca got married, creating a milestone in matrimony.  The first lesbian wedding on daytime TV was a real Kleenex-fest! With enough tears of joy to float everyone’s boat, the whole affair was a beautiful spectacle and a timely push for equal rights, in light of the struggle to stop Prop 8.  But dang girls, you just got hitched—we could have used some more hot action to go with those warm fuzzies! And the same sex lovin’ is headed from daytime to primetime—supposedly Eva Longoria and Teri Hatcher are slated to suck face on this season of “Desperate Housewives.”  It’s hard to imagine that this peck on “L.A. Law” caused such a scandal back in 1991!  I’ve put a thermometer in my mouth with more passion.  Anyway, all these awesome story lines combined are a clear sign that the times, well they are a changin’.  So now that we’re feeling the love, here are our favorite scenes of lesbian lovin’ on TV…

1. The Women Of “The L Word”
Nobody does it better. Tough girl Tasha, slinky sexpot Shane, hard body Helena, bold and beautiful Bette—oh, we can’t pick a favorite! They’re all so good at what they do. So, here’s a montage of all the ladies of “The L Word” making California even hotter.

2. Willow and Tara From “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”
These two vampire slayers were also lady-killers who had the first lesbian sex scene on TV.  Alas, their relationship was cut short—only the good die young, R.I.P. Tara.

3. Xena and Gabrielle from “Xena: Warrior Princess”
Leather suits, long battles, and lonely nights make for the perfect lesbian love affair between these two female fighters.

4. Paige and Alex from “Degrassi: The Next Generation”
Nicknamed “Palex,” this super couple was made up of the captain of the cheerleading squad and an outspoken outcast. Both dated men, but after dry humping on the dance floor, they became inseparable lovers.

5. Julia and Perry from “Party of Five”
After breaking free from an abusive boyfriend, Neve Campbell’s character falls for a Sapphic sister.  Her new writer girlfriend teachers her all about the book of love.

6. Ally and Ling from “Ally McBeal”
After spending the night grinding at the bar, sharp-tongued Lucy Lui plants a soft one on Calista Flockhart.

7. Dax and Lenara from “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”
Dax, who was a man in a past life, falls for a fellow Trill, who is the reincarnation of her old wife. Although, their law doesn’t permit falling in love with lovers from another lifetime, these two ladies just can’t help themselves!

8. Jennifer Aniston On “Friends” & “Dirt”
Needs her own damn category! Back in on “Friends,” Rachel recalls kissing another girl when she was a teenager and says it was her proudest moment.  When that woman, played by Winona Ryder, returns, she plants another one on her! Then, even Phoebe gets in on the kissing action. But those are not the only co-stars Jennifer Aniston locks lips with….keep reading!

Jennifer Aniston made a guest appearance on Courtney Cox’s show “Dirt.” While they’re BFFs on and off screen, in the TV drama, Aniston played Cox’s old lover and the two smooched. Clearly, Jennifer just can’t get enough of her “Friends.”

9. Erica and Callie from “Grey’s Anatomy”
Forget McDreamy and McSteamy, the real hotness on the show was the lesbian love affair, albeit short-lived.

10. Marissa and Alex from “The OC”
Mischa Barton falls for a bartender (we’ve all been there!), but her character, Marissa, falls so hard, she confesses her lady love to her mother!

  1. EmoleMold says:

Growling, he braced on his arms and shifted his knee to get better leverage. They had both recognized Salins unique voice when hed spoken through his mindlink with Radin. They supported her even when they didnt agree with or understand what she was doing. He really was afraid. His control rushed up around hers, holding her in, holding her back. Hyle sat forward with a similar expression, Gala hovering at his side. Gala grinned back at Eyrhaen. That was, perhaps, the most frightening part of the spell. Fake sunlight poured through the open balcony doors from the garden beyond. Steeling herself, she turned to face Brevin. Youre not used to all this atonement. Did you mean what you said before? Shouldnt you all be with Nialdlye? Oh yes, this was right. She closed her eyes and groaned, luxuriating under his weight. She narrowed her eyes and looked back at his face. Do you have time to come speak with me? I was, for all intents and purposes, dead for an endless time. Her hands grasped his immediately. His eyes closed the rest of the way, tongue teasing her fingertips.
