Extract is an upcoming comedy film written and directed by Mike Judge and starring Jason Bateman.
This film is scheduled to have a limited release on September 4, 2009.

I was really concerned that the movie, Extract might suffer the same fate of his previous comedy, Idiocracy. Both had/have Labor Day release dates, and that’s the worst weekend of the year for new movies.
But the trailer hit the internet the other day, and response has been great so far, and now there’s a suggestive new poster, so if nothing else, at least The Weinstein Company is gauging interest in the movie to see what they have.
So far so good. Now don’t do one of those 400 theater opening weekends and bury it…
